Robin is the former CEO of SAFA, and established and ran the SAFA Development Agency for five years. Co-founder of SPNAfrica, a pan-African sports news and streaming portal, Robin is also a co-initiator of the global Safe-Hub campaign, an award-winning social enterprise that uses football as a key part of a transversal youth development intervention. Safe-Hubs, started in Cape Town in 2008 by Amandla EduFootball, now exist across South Africa, as well as in Germany and the USA, with a new site currently being developed in Cote D’Ivoire. Robin is an author, a public speaker, and a former Academic. He has a PhD from the University of Chicago.
