“After successfully graduating from the University of Applied Sciences in Aschaffenburg (Germany), with a Masters of Business Administration degree in Corporate Management and Marketing, as well as obtaining a Cum Laude degree in FIFA/CIES Sport Management, acquired at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth (South Africa), Mr. Grünewald is a member of Cape Town City Football Club’s Management Board and responsible for the entire operational, administrative and logistical sectors of this exciting and relatively new football club.

Having gained significant practical work experience in noteworthy positions at various football clubs such as Ajax Cape Town, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Borussia Dortmund, as well as at football associations with FIFA and UEFA – Grünewald has established himself as a well-known and highly experienced football administrator in the South African football industry.
