Played competitive football from age of 15 and retired at 42.
Debut for National team in 1993 as vice -captain and scored a hat trick on debut v Swaziland.
Captained National team from 1994/2002 and won the first ever trophy for beating Zimbabwe 2-1 in 2002 Cosafa Cup Final.
In 2004/2005 became National Vodacom champions with Spurs WFC beating Moroka Swallows 2-1.
Project co-coordinator 2009/2013 for community based Stars in their Eyes in partnership with KNVB educating community coaches.
FIFA Ambassador for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, Ambassador for Laureus, Special Olympics and 1Goal education for all
Completed CAF B License in 2013 and CAF A License in 2014/2015
Worked as a football pundit for SABC (S.A. Broadcasting Corporation)

Assistant coach of Banyana Banyana (2014 –2016) Interim coach (2016-2018)
First South African to win the Cosafa Cup as a player and coach in 2017
